Getano Bann

He is an elder in the Torres Strait and teaches indigenous spirituality. Just returned from a stint in Hong Kong… ‘A Narrator of Life Stories’ – Getano Bann is an Award Winning and Celebrated Singer, Songwriter and Storyteller of Scottish and Torres Strait Islander descent.

Getano’s songs are a fusion of poignant moments, lethal insight and real passion. As Getano translates his mixed Heritage and Life experience into judicious, emotional and engaging songs. 2015 also sees Getano Bann performing with ‘Sol-TALK’ , his exceptionally talented and highly polished band, who deliver a smooth and sultry sophistication to Getano’s well crafted and superior songs.
